Who We Are

Playing Forward is a revolutionary education and entertainment company for kids. We specialize in play-based, online experiences that enhance reading skills and promote social-emotional learning. Our team of brainiacs work day and night to make technology worth its weight in fun, and fun is the gateway to growth. We’re “playing it forward” to give every child the very best shot at a happy kidhood and a successful adulthood after that.

How We’re Doing It

Playing Forward has partnered up with some of the entertainment world’s finest storytellers: screenwriters, novelists, cartoonists, and a few very clever panda bears. Our aim: create the most immersive game-playing environments online where kids can enjoy themselves via augmented reality and virtual reality. Our specialty: combining these digital creations with real-world books and toys. Our mandate: offer integrated learning experiences for kids of all backgrounds, free of charge, and mainly using mobile technology (cell phones) so that every kid has access. Playing Forward is in business not just to generate “product,” but to generate progress, one kid at a time.

Our Team

We’re a bunch of educators, technologists, entertainers, and innovators. We sometimes stay up all night working on The VROOM and have bags under our eyes in the morning, but that’s probably the worst you can say about us.
